“There’re always regrets. You just have to choose the ones you can live with.”
from A Texas Ranger for Christmas by Margaret Brownley
All six novellas in Christmas in a Cowboy’s Arms are enchanting and perfect for getting into the Christmas spirit. Every time I finished a story, I would say it was my favorite, until I realized all of them were my favorite. While they all take place in the late 1800s, each one is unique and will cast a heartwarming, amorous spell on you. A word of caution: the shortness of the stories means attraction, passion, and all things romantic are whirlwind. No time to waste!
The best part about this Christmas collection is that each story has the central themes of family, trust, forgiveness, and second chances. I thoroughly enjoyed all six novellas, but I will admit that I shed a tear or two at the end of A Christmas Baby by Anna Schmidt.
Father Christmas by Leigh Greenwood: Sometimes when you go looking for gold as payment for a betrayal, you find something much more valuable instead.
A Chick-a-Dee Christmas by Rosanne Bittner: Nothing and no one had better come between a grandpa and his family, because no matter how long it’s been, you can bet your bottom dollar grandpa hasn’t lost his gun slinging skills.
The Christmas Stranger by Linda Broday: That strong-willed, independent woman who just saved your life is about to steal your heart as well.
A Texas Ranger for Christmas by Margaret Brownley: Sometimes when you ride up to deliver bad news to a widow, you discover the family you never knew you wanted or needed.
A Christmas Baby by Anna Schmidt: There is no place for prejudice and hardheartedness at any time of the year, especially at Christmas and a baby’s birth.
A Christmas Reunion by Amy Sandas: True love will always find a way, even if it takes years, miles, and sabotage.

It was my pleasure! I thoroughly enjoyed these stories, and now I am definitely ready for Christmas!
I LOVE what you said about how every story was your favorite until you read the next story — ALL are favorites! That’s the mark of a great anthology! Thanks for the review!
Each story is so unique, so picking a favorite is impossible. I love the connecting theme of second chances.
